July 2015
First a lovely visit back east.
Then a bridal shower for a special aunt.
We visited the temple grounds with a friend.
Then Daddy and Grandpa took the big kids up to the mountains.
Then off camping again, this time with the church (the canoeing is the important part).

June 2015
First a Father's Day photo shoot...
...then we played in the sun...
...cheered like crazy for the guy who ran a 17 mile half marathon...
...ate watermelon on the beach...
...waited for the ferry...
...rode the ferry...
...built things with driftwood...
...toured the local lavender farm...
...and hoisted the British flag on American soil. (God save the Queen.)
Best of all, we welcomed Grandma and Grandpa back, safely home from 19 months in Thailand.

May was better, as you can see.
The birthday spread: sandwiches shaped like airplanes,
fluffy cloud jell-o, and Shirley Temples.
Yes, this is a cake shaped like an aircraft carrier with actual toy airplanes on and around it.
Proof that I am an excellent mother.
