I can answer that...

...with a hymn.

Q: To celebrate the 174th anniversary of the founding of the Relief Society, should we have three kinds of meat pizzas among the twelve pizzas we're making from scratch, or just two?

A: Hymn 307, penned by the Poetess of the Church, Sister Eliza R. Snow. She writes (in part):

That the children may live long, and be beautiful and strong,
Tea and coffee and tobacco they despise.,
Drink no liquor, and they eat but a very little meat;
They are seeking to be great and good and wise.

Don't worry, I'll chop extra vegetables to compensate.

  1. Brad and I have been working on this. We have been attempting vegan. I find myself missing tuna. And butter. And eggs. Sometimes chicken. But not steak.

    I'm surprised you were going to get away with only 3 meat pizzas. Pretty sure at least ten of ours would be pepperoni.

    I'm glad I found your blog. I love it.

  2. Oh, three kinds, not three pizzas :) I'm sure at least half will be of the meaty variety.

    And congrats on the veganism. I couldn't do it; Flexitarian is the answer for me. (Accept meat graciously when offered, don't order, buy or cook it. Happy middle place, yes?)
